Ella Travis Edmundson graduated from the University of Oregon in 1903 and remained active in several University associations. She was also involved in other social, civic, charitable, and professional organizations, particularly the Business and Professional Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the United Nations Association. Mrs. Edmundson was instrumental in the creation of the Eugene parks system and in the establishment of Eugene's first credit bureau. The papers include files of various memberships, newspaper clippings, drafts of eulogies and speeches, club programs, and printed materials. |
