Covered bridge miscellany, ?-1974. Covered bridges have been a part of the Oregon landscape since the late 1850's. At present Lane County has more covered bridges than any other county in the State. The collection, assembled by covered bridge enthusiasts Ralph and Myrtle Prindel of Mapleton, consists of photographic and printed materials relating to covered bridges in Oregon, and particularly in Lane County. Included are photographs, published articles, and poetry about covered bridges. |
