CREST DRIVE CITIZENS ASSOCIATION, EUGENE, OREGON, 1922-1948 Minutes, expense books and miscellaneous records and documents of the College Crest Community Club, the predecessor to the current Crest Drive Citizens Association. From the 1920s through the 1940s, residents of this south Eugene hill area, known as College Crest, had a community club, with its own clubhouse located near present day Storey Boulevard and Whitten Drive. Members from the hillside residences met monthly for potlucks and special programs, and hosted a community-wide Strawberry Festival for many years. They also shared problems and worked together to improve their hillside neighborhood. The neighborhood was comprised of the Crest Drive area of Eugene. Records includethe Club's minutes, an undated membership list, account books, bill stubs, receipts and newspaper clippings regarding club activities.
