RUTMAN/ARNOLD COLLECTION This collection of one color photograph and 22 color transparency slides, taken in Eugene, Oregon, by David Arnold, was donated by his wife, Gail Rutman. Gail was a Lane County Historic Museum volunteer from 2010 to 2014. The collection consists of: --2003 color photograph of Gail Rutman purchasing vegetables at the Lane County Farmer's Market adjacent to the Saturday Market in the Eugene Park Blocks at East 8th Avenue and Oak Street. --January, 2004 set of 19 color transparency slides in sleeve 1. These show an unusually heavy snowfall. David took them in their neighborhood on Brighton Avenue and Ashford Drive off Timberline Drive in the South Hills area. He is probably the man seen in two of the slides. --Ca. 2004 set of three slides in sleeve 2. Two show the 5th Street Market entrance sign incorporated in the wrought iron arch above the East 5th Street entrance; the third shows items for sale inside. |
