WHEELER AND COOLIDGE, 1887 - ca. 1920 INVENTORY AND DESCRIPTION (Entered in the Library of Congress National Union Catalog of Manuscripts - NUCMC - as OCLC 807998141.) Papers, 1887-1909. Allbee E. Wheeler, a lawyer, and D. W. Coolidge, a realtor, began business together in Eugene City in 1887. Wheeler's legal practice was chiefly concerned with property matters and the firm did most of its business in land titles and abstracts. The collection includes copies of Wheeler's outgoing correspondence, 1892-1896 and 1906-1908, mainly concerned with land titles and transactions, and the firm's financial ledgers, 1887-1909. Also included are day books of personal and household expenses for Archie Livermore, 1899-1905. Among the miscellaneous items are invoices for work at the Congregational Church (Eugene) of which Wheeler was a trustee. |
