NANCY O 'CONNOR, MUSIC AND SCHOOL PROGRAMS Programs and documents, 1940-1954 INVENTORY ---Nancy O'Connor was a student at St. Mary's Parochial School in Eugene, Oregon during the 1940s. She later attended Eugene High School. She was particularly interested in music, and this small collection is comprised of music recital programs and report cards from St. Mary's School, commencement programs and parents' handbooks from Eugene High School, University of Oregon orientation handbooks and music programs, and assorted miscellaneous programs including some from Eugene's Civic Music Association in the 1950s. While not a particularly significant historical collection in its own right, the documents do provide a glimpse into Eugene cultural and educational activities during the 1940s and early 1950s. Nancy was the daughter of Anne O' Connor, designated as a widow in Eugene's 1940s city directories. |
